Anti-Slavery Papers, 1833-1892

These documents unite three formerly separate collections the 'Anti-Slavery Society papers: Trinidad 1836-1842'; 'The Rhodes House papers: material relating to America from anti-slavery collection in Rhodes House, Oxford, 1839-1868' and 'The Estlin Papers, 1840-1844'. Those who derived profit from slavery kept detailed records of how their businesses progressed.
