Some parts of this website are not fully accessible, for example:

Technical Information
Please review our Accessibility Conformance Report (PDF, opens in new tab) for a detailed breakdown of our website's compliance to each of the WCAG 2.2 criteria.
Disproportionate Burden
Like almost all websites, BOA's website utilises some third-party software packages to enhance functionality. We have limited or no control over the accessibility features of areas which use these packages, which under WCAG are exempt from testing and falls under 'disproportionate burden'.
- We utilise a library to display some of our older collections, called UniversalViewer. Accessibility information for UniversalViewer can be found in our Accessibility Conformance Report under "13. Resources".
- We include embedded media such as Transistor.fm podcasts, Vimeo videos, social media share buttons, and newsletter signup forms.
How We Tested This Website
This website was last tested on July 2026 internally. We use manual user testing including accessibility testing tools such as WAVE Web Accessibility Tool and axe Developer Tools. We also test using JAWS (version March 2026).
WCAG 2.2 levels A and AA are included in our Accessibility Conformance Report (PDF, opens in new tab).
We review our accessibility standards every 3 months. The next review is due in September 2026.
This statement was last updated on 23rd July 2026.
