C/IND/GEN. These sources begin around 1770, during the period of the Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge (SPCK). They continue for some years after 1825. CLS. This begins, like the CLR volume, with a general document containing correspondence to East India which includes some items relating to Australia before 1845. The letters in the remaining documents are arranged according to the expanding diocesan structure of the Anglican Church throughout India and Sri Lanka. Read more →

E/PRE series reports, 1840-1861

E/PRE includes some statistics but chiefly the reports of individual missionaries at stations in each of the early Anglican dioceses of Calcutta, Madras, and Ceylon. The reports cover the period 1840–1861. They overlap somewhat with the main E series reports that begin in 1856. Read more →
