Last Chance to buy BOA collections on the Jisc DAC Purchasing Scheme!

British Online Archives (BOA) remain delighted to be part of the Jisc Group Purchasing Scheme for 2025. Group purchasing is a community-centred initiative that is based on a simple market principle: the more products that are purchased, the lower the price. Jisc members can expect to enjoy a minimum of a 20% discount on all featured products. There is also the potential for a discount of up to 30%, depending on uptake by institutions. The scheme runs until 31 July. With this year’s scheme coming to an end, now is a great time to make significant savings!

Some of our latest and most popular collections are featured on this year’s scheme, such as Britain Under Threat: Civil Defence in the Era of Total War, 1914–1989; British Mercantile Trade Statistics, 1662–1809; and The Graphic, 1869–1932. We’d also like to take this opportunity to highlight that, significantly, annual hosting fees will be waived for all listed products on the scheme, so this really is the time to take full advantage!

Please visit the BOA website, where you can find a full list of our available primary source collections. You can also visit the BOA page on Jisc’s License Subscription Manager website.

If you would like to learn more about the twenty BOA collections that are featured on this year’s scheme, and about the scheme itself, please consult our dedicated Jisc brochure for 2025.
