Enjoy Free Access to Selected BOA Primary Source Collections!

A young man sat at a desk with a laptop in front of him. He wears glasses and is smiling at the screen. Beside his laptop, there is a brown leather bag, and a cup of coffee.

At British Online Archives (BOA), we are keen to ensure that discovering and exploring our extensive range of fascinating primary source collections is as easy as possible. We feel, moreover, that all higher education staff and students should have the opportunity to engage with our innovative digital platform and the millions of primary sources that it hosts. Indeed, we are mindful that many institutions, and those studying at them, may wish to dive into our collections, but that financial circumstances and constraints can tend to render this somewhat difficult.

We are therefore happy to report that we are granting temporary free access to six of our unique collections!

From 1 May until 30 June 2025, you can explore the following collections for free:

If you are an existing BOA customer, your free access to these collections will come into effect automatically on 1 May.

If you are new to BOA and would like further information regarding free access to these collections, as well as about our company more generally, please contact us at info@britishonlinearchives.com.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to highlight that you can always avail of free 30-day institutional trials of any of our collections, a full list of which can be found on our collections page. If you would like a free trial, again, please email us at info@britishonlinearchives.com.
