This exhaustive collection includes the official statistical "blue books" and annual reports on Basutoland, now Lesotho, spanning more than a century, if one includes the Basutoland records from 1833 to 1868 in reels 10 and 11. Also included are the minutes of the National Council, together with copies of laws and proclamations. Individual reports cover education, natural resources, development plans, government and politics. The collection includes some material on the Bechuanaland Protectorate and Swaziland. Brief description by Dr Thackwray Driver, with detailed reel contents.
