Notes
Founded in 1858, this was the first High Church Anglican mission, unusual in that it was run by the bishop in the field, not a committee at home. The reports are often largely propaganda material for the maintenance of the supply of money and men to the Society.
Reel starts with an introduction by Dr. A.C. Ross, University of Edinburgh.
