Printed by James Farrin at Montego Bay, Jamaica. Its main function was to relate the affairs of the island and also happenings of interest in America which were reported on a state by state basis. A large proportion consists of advertisements, which form a unique source for tracing the trade patterns, land holdings and slave conditions in 18th century Jamaica. From Bristol City Library.
