Notes

This medieval Latin work on the compound and divided senses is one of Heytesbury's more elementary treatises. It was first printed in Venice in 1494 by Bonetus Locatellus. A better-known work with the same title exists attributed to the later Italian author, Paolo della Pergola (d. 1455).
