In addition to the reports of key parliamentary select committees, comprising primary source material for the study of the history of the educational system in the 19th and 20th centuries, this MAP series also includes the annual reports of five nineteenth century education societies (British and Foreign School Society, Catholic Poor-School Committee, NAPTE, National Society, and Wesleyan Committee of Education), making this one of the most important sources of material for the study of the history of elementary education in Britain. Few libraries possess a complete set of the reports. Also available individually.
