Notes
The documents in this collection record the history of British fascism in the years between 1918 and 1989. They chronicle the story of far-right individuals including Oswald Mosley, William Joyce and A.K. Chesterton, in such parties as the British Union of Fascists and the Union Movement, the National Front and the British National Party. This series also records the story of responses to fascism, the attempts of different political parties and community groups to defend themselves against the threat with which they were faced. In this history, the Communist Party of Great Britain, the 43 Group and the Anti-Nazi League all played an important part. The collections in this series make accessible materials which provide an important reference point for future historians.
Available as a set or as individual titles. Series editor, David Renton.
