Collection: Secrecy, Sabotage, and Aiding the Resistance: How Anglo-American Cooperation Shaped World War II    Volumes    Britain and the US in South and Central America, 1940-1946
Britain was concerned to find that supplies likely to aid its enemies were passing through ports in South and Central America. These records cover how the Ministry of Economic Warfare responded to these enemy firms. The UK also sent a diplomatic and commercial mission to South America which is included here. Events diaries and policy reports provide context to the decisions which were made at this time.
