The following series of documents comprise of both original and printed copies of letters, telegrams and correspondence both received and sent which, although chiefly concerned with the 4th Earl of Minto's time as Viceroy, also extend beyond his viceroyalty. Correspondents include Kings Edward VII and George V, the Secretary of State for India, Lord Morley, Lord Curzon, Lord Kitchener, the Amir of Afghanistan, the Dalai Lama as well as numerous persons both within and outside of India.
