Collection: Marxist History and Historians in the 20th Century    Volumes    Dona Torr's research notes & other materials for 'Tom Mann and His Times' (ii), 1910-1958

Dona Torr originally intended Tom Mann and His Times to be a two-volume biography of British labour activist Thomas Mann. Volume I was published in 1956, but Torr’s death in the following year meant that Volume II never appeared in print. This volume contains Torr’s research notes and background materials for the book. The documents cover the origins of the labour movement.
