This volume includes a variety of financial documents relating to Phillips’ estates, such as account, receipt, and cash books. There are also inventories, valuations, and other business records such as instructions for agents and for enslaved workers, shipping documentation, and registers of enslaved people on his estates. The documents date from 1759 to 1813.
