E series reports, 1856-1900
The E series consists of annual reports from missionaries, including some statistical returns. These reports are arranged by diocese. There is no document for 1857, the year of the Sepoy Rebellion, though a small number of reports are included in the documents for adjacent years.
Selected Sri Lankan material, 1827-1867
This group of documents comprises items relating to the Diocese of Colombo, drawn from the C, D, & E series in the USPG archive. In addition, volumes of copies of letters received from the SPG (CLR/28-30) and sent to the SPG (CLS/19-20) between 1845 and 1928 can be found elsewhere in this collection.
Miscellaneous additional materials
This volume includes a letter book owned by David Christian, the first Indian to be ordained an Anglican priest, and a number of calendars.
